Bloom with Hope

Sometimes a stamp set will inspire me to challenge myself to use all of the images on one card. Here's my attempt using Bloom with Hope.

Use a permanent Black ink pad such as Jet Black StazOn or the new Tuxedo Black Memento pad.

Stamp the images on copy paper (cheap, thin paper is best) and cut them out. I used 1 of each of the flowers with stems, 2 big flowers and 3 daisies.

Position the cut outs until you like the arrangement.

-stamp the foreground image first, then cover it with the cut out mask (I use repositionable TomBow adhesive)

-keep stamping the images and masking them

-use a sponge dauber with Pear Pizzazz ink to fill in the spaces and to add colour along the edge
-stamp the leaf images

-remove all the masks
-colour the flowers
I used:
So Saffron and Hello Honey for the flowers with stems and Crushed Curry with Old Olive in the centres
Pink Pirouette and Blushing Bride for the large flowers and So Saffron in the centres
Soft Sky and Smoky Slate for the daisies and Daffodil Delight with Crushed Curry for the centres
Pear Pizzazz and Wild Wasabi for the leaves

I love masking! It may seem like a lot of work at first, but you use the masks over and over again. I love what you did with this set! Such a nice job.

Beautiful card Cheryl! Thanks for sharing the details on how it was created. Reminds me a bit of the new Corner Garden Background stamp layout but with better card coverage. Absolutely lovely.
