Layers of Gratitude Paper Pumpkin

The February Paper Pumpkin Kit contains supplies for 8 accordion "Thanks" cards complete with punch out felt letters and easy to assemble gift boxes.

The stamp set included in the kit features mainly background images which inspired me to expand on those designs and came up with some interesting variations.

Leopard Print Background
I used the repeating row of background shapes and the single dot image to make a leopard print background.

Score and pierce a Baked Brown Sugar card and stamp the sentiment from the kit with Early Espresso ink.

Adhere the large heart and a Gold Foil small heart to the card with dimensionals and embellish with a Gold twine bow.

-stamp the background image with Early Espresso ink on Very Vanilla card stock
-stamp dot image over each each squarish shape with Soft Suede ink
-punch out heart and sponge edges with Soft Suede ink

Overlapping Pastels Background
Stamp the large circular image on Whisper White card stock with pastel inks. I used Soft Sky, So Saffron, Pink Pirouette and Pistachio Pudding.
The sentiment is from Simply Wonderful, a free Sale-A-Bration stamp set.
Set of 4 Note Cards
Cut the accordion card from the kit into 4 little note cards and stamp backgrounds using both ink spots.

I used Memento Black ink for the sentiments and added Bermuda Bay sequins and Baker's twine.

Put them into one of the boxes for a sweet little gift.
For the Birds Note Cards
The images from For the Birds are perfect for a little set of Note Cards too.

Stamp them with a Memento pad, colour them with Blendabilities and mount them with a skinny Basic Black mat.

Make enveloples from Copy Paper and the Envelope Punch Board.

More Ideas!
Use the accordion card to make a mini-album for someone special and gift it in one of the boxes.
Cut the accordion card into single cards and make a matching game in a box for a young one.
Look on the internet for word games like I Spy and Rock, Paper, Scissors and print the rules on each of the sections of the accordion card and keep it in a box in the car for road trips.

Filled With Love Paper Pumpkin

The January Paper Pumpkin has supplies to make 24 very sweet gift bags! You supply the Cinnamon Hearts. What a great idea for school Valentine's Day.

Since I don't need that many treat bags, I created some card designs.

I added a scalloped gold heart to the bag tag accents and adhered it to a Melon Mambo card.
Use the tiny heart stamp to make a background on a Melon Mambo card and some of the pennants for banners. Use Hearts Collection framelits to cut hearts from the tags in the kit.
A paper doily and die cut hearts over pennant banners. Love that Pink and Gold twine!
Make an Anniversary Card with 2 of the die-cut hearts from the kit. The pink and gold tag has a fabulous Art Deco look.
Stamp on the back of one of the die-cut hearts from the kit with Bermuda Bay ink. The large heart outline stamp makes a great background. I coloured the rhinestone with a hot pink Sharpie.

Try out the new Chalk ink on Stampin' Up! Chalkboard card stock to make an All Occasion Card.
This simple All Occasion Card is a snap to make.

Stamp the heart outline image on the back of a die-cut heart and turn 2 pennants into a banner.

Simply Snowflakes Paper Pumpkin

The November Paper Pumpkin kit makes 8 fabulous Christmas Cards and 12 Gift Tags. I love the projects just as they are, but decided to stretch the number of cards you can make. If you don't need cards then check out the Decorative Banner I made from the supplies.

Make twice as many cards!

Cut the die-cut flaps from the cards in the kit. Stamp and mount each flap on a Lost Lagoon card base.

The sentiment is from one of the gift tags!
Use the next 2 designs to make 4 times the number of cards in the kit!

I added Frosted Sequins embellishments. (135835)
This card uses just the white die-cut snow flake on a Soft Sky card base with a Lost Lagoon mat.

I added the Silver ribbon. (132137)
If you use the flaps from the cards in the kit, you will have 8 plain mats left over.

Emboss them with the Northern Flurry folder (120902) in your Big Shot (113439) and sand the blue layer to reveal the white core.

Eight more cards!

I added extra rhinestones. (119246)
If you don't need lots of cards, make a banner from Lost Lagoon pennants with the die-cut card flaps.

For the white snowflakes flip the Lost Lagoon die-cut snowflakes over.

I used my 2 in. Circle punch (133782) and discontinued Alphabet dies for the letters.
